1. Service Description

1.0 Education ("we", "us", "our") is a subscription-based video education platform focused on premium hair education. We provide access to 4K video tutorials, step-by-step guides, and educational content created by world-class educators. Access to our content library requires an active paid subscription.

2. Account Terms

To access our services, you must create an account using a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

  • Individual subscriptions (Monthly and Annual) are licensed for use on a single device at a time.
  • Shop subscriptions allow multiple concurrent users as defined by the shop plan.
  • You may not share your login credentials with others.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account.

3. Subscription Terms

We offer the following subscription plans:

  • Monthly - $59/month, billed monthly. Cancel anytime.
  • Annual - $499/year, billed annually upfront. No prorated refunds for early cancellation. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
  • Shop - $199/month, billed monthly. Includes multi-user access for your shop team. Cancel anytime.

All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

4. Content Usage

  • All content is streamed through our platform. Downloading, recording, or capturing content is strictly prohibited.
  • You may not share, redistribute, or publicly display any content from the platform.
  • Content is provided for personal educational use only unless you hold a shop subscription, which permits viewing in a professional shop setting.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the platform - including videos, images, text, graphics, and trademarks - is owned by 1.0 Education or its content creators and is protected by intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the content for personal educational purposes during the term of your active subscription.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 1.0 Education shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

8. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
